Bozi's article earlier this week got me thinking - is there such thing as a Salvage Chevrolet Volt? As it turns out, the answer is a resounding yes!
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
There actually seems to be a few decent looking ones. Exhibits A, B, and C:

For the middle one, I can hardly tell that anything is wrong with it. It looks like someone has circled a few things on the bumper, but the panel gap looks fine (at least from the pictures).
So how terrible of an idea is fixing up a trashed Chevrolet Volt?

I dunno it's that terrible, but outside parking would be a good idea. That much electrical power in one place that might have a rubbed wire or damaged component - FWWOOOOSH anytime.

I don't see what's so bad about the grey one. Which should probably raise suspicions.

Good point.

It does make me wonder. Did it run over a giant rock and tear up the underside or something?

I see an x on the bumper, but the only circles I see are sensors.

Or was it flooded? At any rate, I would find some degree of visible body damage much more reassuring.
This is like finding the one suspiciously normal looking cookie in the bag of irregular Oreos.

I guess I should have said "indicated". I see a mark on the bumper and on the headlight.

It does say the loss is due to "collision". Doesn't mention if it was a collision with a body of water, I suppose...
